- Sachem East senior Ciara Torres has selected her works for the Juried Art Show. Torres had his painting “Still Life in Tempura” selected for the jury art exhibition at the Atelier de Flowerfield. She did the painting in Ms. DelVallez’s Painting and Drawing 1 class. “The art event offers art students the opportunity to build their portfolio, as well as promote and exhibit their works in the Atelier showroom for a period of four weeks. The juried exhibition also offers winners a scholarship for a free course and a one-year membership to the Atelier..”(Press Release Office)
- ICYMI: Brookhaven Town joins Long Island Cares Pet Food Drive. The Town of Brookhaven will join the pet food drive, which runs from March 21 to April 22.
