An exhibition of nine female artists from the initiative, Colors, is currently underway at Gallery-Q, Banani. This is Colors’ seventh exhibition, and the artists have designed each piece with dedication.

Most of the works in this exhibition are conceptual. Indigenous artists have beautifully portrayed the stories of everyday life through their works. Some works are designed as two-dimensional summaries, while others are realistic. Many artists have expressed their artistic ideas through three-dimensional sculptures.

The director of the Academy Shilpakala Mini Karim and the general secretary of the Gulshan Society Barrister Shukla Sarwat Siraj opened the exhibition. The participating artists are Farhana Afroz, Farzana Islam, Manideepa Dasgupta, Morzia Begum, Mosammat Shaila Akhter, Mukti Bhowmik, Rebecca Sultana Molly, Rehana Yasmin and Rifat Jahan Kanta.

Pieces of watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, sculpture and installation are exhibited during this event.

The exhibition will continue until tomorrow.
