Bereskin Art Gallery to close in August, art classes moving to Figge and Family Museum
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – Pat Bereskin has inspired generations of local artists. She has taught for three decades while harnessing the Bereskin Gallery and Academy of Fine Arts for 28 years.
But a new era is dawning for Pat and for future art students.
Pat Bereskin announces that starting in the fall of 2022, the Beréskin Art Academy will offer its courses across the Figge Art Museum in Davenport and the family museumBettendorf.
Figge’s new Art Academy is for intermediate to advanced students in upper elementary through high school. The Family Museum’s Beginner Art Academy is for beginning students in the early grades of elementary school.
Both locations will begin their course offerings in August.
Pat also announces that she will be closing Bereskin Gallery on August 1 to focus solely on her art and teaching.
The works of the 45 artists of the Bettendorf gallery will continue to be sold online after the closure. The Bereskin website is HERE
