Explore Jadughor: The Magic Room at Cartwright Hall, a room of wonder and curiosity created with objects and works of art from the Bradford Museum’s collections.
Explore beautiful Lister Park – with the nearby play park and plenty of picnic spots, there’s all day fun. We have an indoor dining area for picnics when it’s raining too – just ask our staff to point you in the right direction!

Thursday August 4 – Try making your own balance toy.
Thursday, August 11 – Learn to weave with a paper plate.
Thursday August 18 – Quick Print – draw and print your own artwork.
Thursday, August 25 – Create a “stained glass” shape with resin dipping or design your own stained glass window.

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery
Cartwright Hall Art Gallery is in the middle of Lister Park, 1 mile from the city center on the A650 Manningham Lane. There are limited parking spaces in Lister Park, accessible from North Park Road (off Oak Lane). Lister Park is served by many downtown bus services including 23, 25, 26, 49, 51, 52, 53, 54, 622, 647, 662, w5. Cartwright Hall is about a ten minute walk from Frizinghall station.

Bradford Museums & Galleries are proud to announce the introduction of AppEar; a new system to help visually impaired people explore our collections. This year we have worked closely with RNIB and Bradford Talking Media to expand the use of PenFriend audio devices, which are already widely used within the visually impaired community. Visitors can now borrow a PenFriend from our reception to hear visual descriptions of surrounding screens.
