Fundraising for a unique art exhibition at the Swan

An exclusive private ‘meet the artist’ tour of the Tarporley Art Trail and 6-day group exhibition is scheduled to take place on Friday at The Swan in Tarporley, Cheshire.
The event will be part of Tarporley Big Weekend, where several community organizations have joined forces to allow visitors to peruse the village’s independent shops, watch local act performances and follow the beautifully curated art trail through the village as well as participating in family sports activities. amusing.
The Swan has teamed up with The Craft Room in Tarporley to be the final destination of its ‘Art Trail’, a distinctive display of some of the finest works of art that Cheshire creatives have to offer.
Money raised from the event will go to Tarporley War Memorial Hospital, one of the few such hospitals dedicated to the well-being of the community and surrounding villages.
The Tarporley Art Trail takes place September 10-16, with a private tour on Friday at 7 p.m. Tickets will be priced at £ 20 per person and will give participants the opportunity to meet the artists, see their works first and enjoy a selection of stained glass and fizz.

Concluding the Art Trail, which is part of the Tarporley Big Weekend, the exhibit will be presented in The Swan’s highly prized Tarporley Room. Steeped in history, the suite is a local favorite for small weddings, corporate gatherings and family celebrations.
Next month it will be transformed into an attractive local art gallery, offering a well-deserved display of the astonishing works of art produced by local residents of Tarporley and Cheshire.
39 artists will exhibit some of their work in the group exhibition at The Swan, the work will be available for sale with 15% of each sale also going to charity. As well as being on display in the Tarporley Hall, art will be on display in shops up and down Main Street. Many young students from The Craft Room will present their paintings, with the participation of children aged 6 to 13 years old.

Rachael Carr, owner of The Craft Room in Tarporley, adds: “I am really looking forward to seeing the works of my youngest student on display and also presenting an exciting set of works by Cheshire artists to fill the main street for the great weekend.

The exhibition is accessible free of charge between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Saturday September 11 to Thursday September 16 at the Swan.
