â¢â¢ Visit the Mile Gallery: Illustration and storytelling, according to curator Dan Chudzinski, was more than just a profession, but a way of life for Hardy Gramky.
In 2017, the Matzo Museum acquired most of Hardy Gramkey’s original works of art, preliminary drawings, and manuscripts. In addition to the first shipment, the museum received his personal studio furniture and art supplies and used them to create his 14 beloved picture books and countless art paintings.
Visitors have a unique opportunity to experience the essence of the artist, from the first sparks of inspiration to storyboards and manuscripts to original paintings and final publications.
