Off the Wall: Harrow Café showcases local artwork

A cafe in Harrow Weald is hosting an art exhibition featuring local artists who have supported the venue since it opened.

On the wall was described as a “rotating exhibition of local artists” and the opening day was a huge success.

A representative for the cafe said: “Thank you to everyone who attended the opening of Off the Wall.”

“We were lucky enough to have local councilors attend and several other perfectly suited people to cut the ribbon, but first we wanted to maintain our tradition of community and have someone special to open the gallery, we chose Vaz .”

“We cannot thank the Parklife team enough for putting on such a great event. Thank you to the attendees who helped make this opening truly special.

ParkLife Café sells great coffees and cakes and they managed to sell 3 paintings in the evening straight ‘on the wall’.

The venue is located next to the Harrow Weald Bus Garage, bordering the Harrow Weald Recreation Ground (aka Boxtree Park), which has 5.5 acres of parkland.

Organizers are asking residents to come see their selection of artists who have supported the gallery with great paintings and prizes.
