The Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble presents a performance and visual art exhibit, “Art. Heals. | 05/07/2022

The Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble is proud to announce the latest addition to its two-year 20th anniversary retrospective season, “Art. Heals.”, May 6-14, the gallery opens at 7:30 p.m. with performances beginning at 8 p.m., in the auditorium of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 1650 W. Foster Ave.

“Of Art. Heals. is a curated exhibition of performance and visual art featuring music, dance, theatre, poetry, multimedia and visual art created to bring together the arts and the Chicago community to help heal and connect after the effects of the global pandemic over the past two years.The Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble is Chicago’s only multidisciplinary arts organization dedicated to social justice and socially responsible work that builds community through the arts “one voice, one story, one person at a time.” CDE is dedicated to creating performances that blend dance, theater and visual arts to tell stories about the human condition.

Tickets are on sale now for general admission of $20 (non-student adults), general student admission of $13 (high school students over 16 and college students), and free general admission (under 16 years old). Online ticket sales close two hours before the performance but will be available at the door for $30. The duration of the evening is currently two hours including an intermission.
