Latest oil paintings by Tipperary visual artist Trish Taylor Thompson include hummingbirds, juvenile blackbird, barn owl, kestrels, kingfishers and more in a new exhibit .

The exhibition titled ‘Birds & Bees’ opens at Art D Gallery, Ballyfinn House, Borrisokane (E45 WD29) this Sunday, November 21 (2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) and continues until Saturday December 4.

The exhibit also includes the highly sought after limited edition prints of ‘Covid Bee Hug’ recently featured in The Irish Examiner (10% of net proceeds go to Breast Cancer Ireland).

Originally from Dublin and now living in Loughtea overlooking Lough Derg, Trish Taylor Thompson paints in oils, acrylics and glass ink, creating unique images that exude life, energy and color. Whether depicting the delicacy of the cherry blossom or the elusive bloom of the cannonball, her flower paintings radiate with a world of beautifully illustrated plants against a characteristic abstract background. The Mackerel series will also feature in its latest exhibition at the Art D gallery, Borrisokane.
